- May 21 at 6pm: Senior awards
- May 21 at 7:30pm: Senior Sunset
- May 22 at 2pm: Senior Walk down memory lane at elementary schools
- May 22 from 3-4:30pm: Senior rally in the park
- May 23 during school: End of year rally + senior picnic
There are a lot of things seniors need to do before they leave on May 30! Review the May check-out sheet for everything they need to know and complete before graduation!
Time of Reflection, Sunday, May 18 at 4pm: Please join us at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church for this very special event. Doors open at 3:30pm for families and seniors to mingle, and take pictures outside. Once the event begins, there will be student and staff speakers, performances, and the end of the year senior recap video. The attire is dressy casual—khakis, collared shirts, sundresses, etc.
Senior memory frames must be turned in to the attendance office May 19-21. Frames should be vertical, have the student’s name on the front, have your name and phone number on the back, and be school appropriate. For more information, check out this information sheet.
Starting at 2pm on May 22, seniors will have the opportunity to visit the Lafayette elementary school they attended—walking the halls one last time, greeting former teachers, and being cheered on by younger students. It’s a special way to reflect on how far they’ve come and celebrate the journey that started right here in our community.
From 3-4:30pm, students and families are invited to come to Lafayette Plaza to enjoy live music by an Acalanes student and his band, great food and drink provided by Sideboard, games, and a whole lot of Don’s spirit as we gather together to mark this exciting milestone. It’s a new way to celebrate, connect, and make lasting memories before graduation day. Please RSVP for your Acalanes senior and family members here.
Grad night waivers. Every senior needs a waiver on file to participate in grad night. Tickets can still be purchased on the webstore until this Friday, May 16. A parent and senior both must sign the waiver and email the completed form back to class2025@acalanesparentsclub.com.
Parent chaperones for grad night needed! Senior parents interested in chaperoning grad night can sign up here. It’s a great night on the bay and a final send off for our new graduates!
The senior picnic is coming up on Friday, May 23! You can sign up to donate drinks here.
